About Suitland Cares
Suitland Cares is a community-powered summer youth initiative dedicated to providing safe, enriching, and nourishing experiences for children and teens in the Suitland area. Through a strong partnership between the Suitlandfest Community Development Corporation, the New Suitland Recreation Council, and the Suitland Community Center, the program offers daily activities, healthy meals, field trips, and life-building experiences that promote wellness, creativity, and community pride. Located at the Suitland Community Center (5600 Regency Lane, Suitland, MD 20746), Suitland Cares ensures that every child has access to joy, support, and opportunity throughout the summer — regardless of background or circumstance.

We are currently accepting in-kind donations and sponsorships to help meet the growing nutritional needs of participating youth. Our most requested support includes:

• Pre-packaged lunches (e.g., healthy sandwiches, wraps, fruit cups)

• Nutritious snacks (granola bars, crackers, trail mix, etc.)

• Fresh fruits and vegetables

• Bottled water and 100% fruit juice (small plastic containers only)

• Reusable water bottles for ongoing hydration

All contributions are tax-deductible and will directly support the wellbeing of local youth. Thank you for helping us build a stronger, healthier Suitland community.
